Cedar Speedway Too Wet

Menomonie WI, May
30 – The Red Cedar Speedway lost their fifth show of
the 2008 racing season on Friday night as a
combination of heavy rains on Thursday along with
very poor drying conditions on Friday prevented
proper track preparation and made the surface too
wet to race on.
Red Cedar will try
again next Friday to complete their fourth program
of the year on a very special night. Friday, June 6th
, will be Clear Channel Radio “Relay at the Races”
night as a fundraiser for the Dunn County Relay for
Life. This event will be sponsored by the Clear
Channel Radio group that includes Hot Country B95,
Rock 92.1, The Mix 98.1, The Moose 106.7, Talk Radio
880 and Sports Radio 1400. Race time will be 6:30
p.m.
The Red Cedar Speedway is
located on Menomonie’s east side at the Dunn County
