Speedway loses Eighth Show of 2008

Menomonie WI, July 11 – A combination of heavy over
night rains Thursday, poor drying conditions on
Friday and the high threat of severe weather on
Friday afternoon and evening all combined to result
in the cancellation of auto racing Friday night at
the Red Cedar Speedway. The cancellation was the
eighth race lost already this year in a season that
will long be remembered and probably not from a
positive standpoint.
Racing is scheduled to resume
on Friday, July 18th on Baxter’s Speed
