Dakota as well as being the current WISSOTA
Promoters Association president.
The Rumble at Red
Cedar will pay the Late Model winner a cool $5,000
with each starter of the feature race earning at
least $400. WISSOTA sanctioned Super Stocks, Midwest
Modifieds and Pure Stocks will also be racing during
the two night show.
So far this year

Winners so far include Jimmy Mars from Menomonie and
John Kaanta from Elk Mound as well as New Richmond’s
Pat Doar, Bonduel’s A.J. Diemel and Lance Matthees

competitors from the Dakotas, Minnesota and
Wisconsin and two Canadian Provinces already
competing.
The format for the
weekend will see heat races and dashes for the Late
Models, Super Stocks and Midwest Modifieds on
Thursday plus a full program of Red Cedar Pure
Stocks. On Friday there will be last chance races in
all three WISSOTA classes plus the three big feature
events and another full show for the Pure Stocks.

begins at 7 p.m. with the grandstands opening at 5
p.m and the pit area at 4 p.m. The Super Stocks will
be racing for a top prize of $600 with the Midwest

The speedway is
going all out to make this a pleasurable weekend for
visitors. Camping will be available both nights
right at the Dunn Co. Rec Park with full shower and
restroom facilities on the grounds. There will be a
DJ provided on Thursday night and the city of
Menomonie has a large celebration going on also on
July 4th with many activities in
conjunction with that event. There is also a
possibility that the speedway may have a fireworks
display on Thursday night also.
